Sometimes you make beautiful motion graphics videos but nobody sees them. What is the use of making a video, if it doesn’t reach the audience you are aiming for?
Let me help you make plan about which media you could use, like Instagram, Facebook or YouTube. Maybe add your video in a newsletter, your website or a whatsapp message.
As an art director, I first think of the bigger picture, about what it is exactly that is going to help my client get what he wants.
To attract followers to your social media account you need t0 add something of value to their lives. Why else would the follow you? Let me help you come up with original ideas to make mini tv shows for online use and make interesting video content.
After analysis I come up with a concept. An idea of what we could show in a video that will put our message across. We make a script. Would the message be better if we should footage or should we make an animation?
We also define the look it should have. I often make moodboards. It helps to find the look and feel we are going for. During the design proces I make sure everybody that works on the project uses the same design strategy.
I have been making motion graphics for almost 20 years. In Adobe After Effects I make designs for openers of TV shows (also known as broadcast design or leaders&bumpers), lower thirds (or titlebars), backgroundloops, social buttons, logo animations, title designs, infographics, games, scorebars… you name it.
I have also been making animations or explainers for businesses. With text, icons or/and with characters.
I also teach motion graphic design. If you need a one-on-one teacher, let me know
.
Besides motion graphics I also still design still, non moving graphics.
By the way, Prik is not my real name.
Some names just stick. In high school a dutch teacher told me she thought Priscilla was just too difficult to remember.
From then on she was going to call me Prik, on old dutch name. And lo and behold, people still call me Prik 30 years later.
